DISTRICT 11 SOUTH - DIVISION 1 - FLOTILLA 1

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Auxiliary offers a great opportunity for citizens to serve, train, and participate in boating safety and other functions under the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Some of the unique opportunities that the Auxiliary offers cannot be matched anywhere else.  Depending on your interests, you can receive instruction and experience in areas such as boat crew operations, and search and rescue.  You'll make lasting friendships and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you've made a difference.

          Become a member today!!

The Flotilla is also interested in those who own boats that can become classified as vessels.  The ideal boat is about 25 feet and either moored or launched from San Diego Bay.  If you are interested in lending your services to the Auxiliary, contact a member today!

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, 17 years of age or older - no upper limit.  Contact Edward Rudisill, Personnel Services Officer at (858) 456-6179 or by email at tedrudisill@san.rr.com.

Listed below are some basic references for new Auxiliary members and potential applicants.
